THOHT is made by a small, independent two-person team.
We built THOHT because we wanted dictation to be fast, honest about privacy, and affordable—first on Mac, and now on iPhone and iPad too.
Talking is often faster than typing, and many people think more freely out loud. On an Apple silicon Mac, THOHT can turn that speech into text locally and offline. On iPhone, iPad, and Intel Mac, Pro provides the cloud transcription route needed by those devices.
We'd rather do one thing well than ten things adequately, so THOHT stays focused: thoughtful voice-to-text with an interface designed for each screen and one Pro subscription across the supported apps.
